Karen Esperanza Labra is a unique and captivating bilingual teen singer and model based in Columbus, Ohio.

 

At the age of 7, Labra exposed her talent for the first time, singing both in English and Spanish.

 

Karen had the chance to sing on the famous Latino show "Sabado Gigante" and sang the National Anthem in many political events, as well at a Cincinnati Reds game in 2011.

 

For several years now, she has performed statewide in different 5 de Mayo Festivals, local Spanish radio concerts, Latino Night Clubs, Restaurants,  as well as the Columbus Latino Festival.

 

Karen’s styles in English include covers from Rihanna, Beyonce and Whitney Houston among other popular singers, but there’s no doubt that her most acclaimed performances  have been in Spanish, which repertoire of Mexican and Tex/Mex collection of songs include those of Jenny Rivera, Lola Beltran, Selena and Rocio Durcal to name just a few of the great Spanish singers of our time. She now he has over 100 songs in both languages and still learning and looking for more music to add to her great collection.

 

She regulary performs at local clubs, community and corporate events, festivals, weddings, quinceaneras and private parties.

 

Labra hopes to grow as a singer in the music industry and to be able to combine her singing career with her aspiring modeling career.
